Famitsu Sales: 11/13/23 – 11/19/23

Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of November 13, 2023 to November 19, 2023.

Momotaro Dentetsu World: Chikyuu wa Kibou de Mawatteru! for Switch was the highest selling new release of the week, opening at 314,699 retail copies sold. It was followed by Super Mario RPG for Switch, which opened at 301,334 retail copies sold.

Other new releases last week included Hogwarts Legacy for Switch, which opened at 47,717 retail copies sold, and Persona 5 Tactica, which sold 26,794 copies on Switch at 15,713 copies on PlayStation 5 for an opening week total of at least 42,507 retail copies sold (the PlayStation 4 version did not chart in the top 10).

On the hardware side, the Switch family sold 65,555 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 62,912 units, the Xbox Series family sold 3,126 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 646 units.
