Patch 10.2.6 Announced for Early Spring - Skull and Crossbones Flag
On the 2024 Roadmap, Blizzard announced a mysterious Patch 10.2.6 with a Skull and Crossbones Flag. Could this mean… Pirates?
The World of Warcraft 2024 Roadmap revealed the entire 2024 plan for Retail WoW with features for each of the upcoming patches, except for a suspicious looking Patch 10.2.6.
This Patch will take placed in early spring / late winter but contains no other information other than being on a small tattered flag with a skull and crossbones icon.
Seeing this flag, most people will immediately think of pirates.
In September 2024, Blizzard Entertainment President, Qwik, mentioned «no pirates». This was likely with regards to the expansion discussion that was happening, but maybe the plan was for Patch 10.2.6 to be all about pirates! There's a lot of activities that could be done with a pirates themed patch.
