Lawrence Sullivan, also known as the Florida Joker, has issued a "final warning" to Rockstar Games and is demanding $5 million for the parody of him in the GTA 6 reveal trailer.
After years of speculation, rumours, leaks, and waiting, the start of this month delivered something that Grand Theft Auto fans have been waiting a very long time for - the official reveal of GTA 6. As the record-breaking YouTube views show, almost everyone was happy with the reveal and all that it told us about the upcoming game. Note that I said almost everyone.
Lawrence Sullivan, who you might know as the "Florida Joker" for his distinctive tattoos and dyed hair, wasn't so impressed with the GTA 6 reveal after spotting a character that was clearly meant to be a parody of him. Shortly after the trailer was released, Sullivan shared a video reacting to it and demanding that Rockstar offer him some kind of compensation, with his last video on the topic suggesting he wanted $2 million for it.
Sullivan isn't the only real-world person or situation that's being parodied in the GTA 6 trailer, as the whole reveal is packed full of strange events that are based on seemingly everyday life in Florida.
Now, several weeks later, Sullivan has released a new video on the matter that acts as a "final warning" to Rockstar Games. In the video, Sullivan says that he's just come back from Miami after talking to his lawyers and reveals that he's now sent a letter to Rockstar and will take legal action against the parody if the studio doesn't respond to him by January 11, his birthday.
