GTA 6 is taking us back to Vice City, which means we'll be stepping foot into Rockstar's rendition of Miami, Florida. And it isn't shying away from that fact, parodying a bunch of viral videos and real-life characters to make it even more authentic. However, one has taken offense to being featured - the Florida Joker.
Originally, he demanded $2 million in compensation for his likeness (the unique tattoos and dyed hair) but quickly upped that number to $5 million at the threat of legal action. The deadline he gave was January 11, which is just three days from now. But as reported by Insider Gaming, the Florida Joker is threatening to take things further if Rockstar fails to meet his demands.
18-year-old Lapsus$ hacker Arion Kurtaj was recently sentenced to life in hospital until he is "no longer a danger". He hacked into Rockstar while on bail, using an Amazon Firestick, his hotel TV, and a mobile phone, stealing 90 clips of GTA 6 before circulating them online far in advance of the official announcement.
"GTA, we gotta talk," the Florida Joker said. "This is a reminder for the final warning. I keep getting harassed wherever I go. I can't even eat a goddamn pizza without someone asking, 'Can I have a picture, Mr. GTA Joker?' No, you can't have a picture. Anyways, for a whole month, I've been giving y'all free publicity. I want my money.
"My birthday is January 11, if you do not contract me three days after my birthday, I want $10 million. $10 million for my suffering and pain, defamation of a character. Stop playing with me.
