The musical reboot has scored big at the domestic box office. But the original Cady Heron,, is upset over a joke in the film that references a derogatory term associated with her in the early 2000s.
The controversial video made headlines back in 2006 after Brandon Davis made an insulting comment about Lohan’s body, referring to her as a “fire crotch.” The TMZ video featured Davis’s rant about Lohan while Paris Hilton was laughing in the background. The incident reportedly caused a rift between Lohan and Hilton at the time, though the former previously revealed that “they are on friendly terms again,” Vanity Fair reported.
While the unflattering nickname was a thing in the past, it was seemingly used as a reference to the new Paramount movie, showing Megan Thee Stallion as herself offering Cady Heron (now played by Angourie Rice) support by saying, “We are going back, red. Y2K fire crotch is back!”
Lohan’s representative, Leslie Sloane, told The Messenger that the star was not happy about the reboot’s joke, stating, “Lindsay was very hurt and disappointed by the reference in the film.”
Paramount Pictures has not yet commented about the issue.

As Cady sets to take down the group’s apex predator with the help of her outcast friends Janis and Damian, she must learn how to stay true to herself while navigating the most cutthroat jungle of all: high school.”
