Pokemon GO has announced the debuts of Varoom and Revavroom in an upcoming event, Taken Treasures. Pokemon GO has started its eighth year with exciting content to keep players engaged.

Pokemon GO announced the debuts of Varoom and Revavroom in Taken Treasures, a new Team GO Rocket event that starts on January 27 at 12 am and ends on February 1 at 11:59 am local time. During this period, trainers can find Varoom in 12 km eggs and evolve it using 50 Varoom Candy. Shadow Ho-Oh will be available in five-star Shadow Raids between January 27 and 28 from 6 am to 10 pm local time, and for the first time, trainers can encounter shiny Shadow Ho-Oh. Pokemon GO players will battle Giovanni and his Shadow Kyogre, and unlock the last part of the Seasonal Special Research story. During the event, trainers will see Team GO Rocket more often and help Shadow Pokemon forget the Charged Attack Frustration using Charged TM.
Corphish, Snorunt, Chimchar, Piplup, Croagunk, Dwebble, and Ferroseed will appear more often when battling Team GO Rocket grunts and their leaders. One-star raids will feature Alolan Rattata, Meowth, Grimer, and Galarian Zigzagoon, and five-star raids will feature Weezing, Galarian Weezing, Tyranitar, and Bombirdier. One-star shadow raids will feature Shadow Alolan Sandshrew, Murkrow, Pineco, and Croagunk, while three-star raids will feature Shadow Scyther, Skarmory, and Golett.
