As players explore Skyrim's open world, they are bound to find themselves face to face with a dragon. Some Skyrim dragons are fought as part of quests, but others can be encountered unexpectedly. Skyrim dragon fights can lead to some of the most memorable moments in the game, but not always for the reasons one might expect.
Reddit user Mariaeduardabk recently shared a clip of their Dragonborn fighting a Skyrim dragon. The battle is an exciting one, with the dragon slamming into the ground and breathing fire at the Dragonborn, who flees to safety. The player pelts the dragon with arrows from a distance, dwindling their health bar to nothing. The player then sends a final arrow flying, triggering one of Skyrim's killcams. But instead of showing a cinematic defeat of the dragon, the killcam shows the heartbreaking death of an innocent rabbit that happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and was unfortunately hit by the arrow.
Skyrim killcams are meant to give some extra excitement to battles in the game. Typically, they show flashy and devastating killing blows, but sometimes they result in unexpected moments, as is the case here. Other times the killcam doesn't work as intended, like in one instance where the Skyrim killcam made it seem like the player was going to kill a spider, only for the enemy to slide out of the way at the last second.
