A Minecraft player has spent 100 hours recreating the Allegiant Stadium in celebration of Super Bowl 58. Super Bowl 58 is set to take place on February 11, but this Minecraft fan has taken multiple play sessions to create the arena that it takes place in.
The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers are set to compete for the Lombardi Trophy in Las Vegas this year. Allegiant Stadium is home to Super Bowl 58, and it's a stadium that can seat up to 65,000 fans. The stadium was completed in 2020, and since then it has hosted musical acts like Ed Sheeran, Metallica, and The Rolling Stones. Despite limited overlap, some Minecraft gamers also happen to be NFL football fans. Eagerly anticipating Super Bowl 58, this player used the many materials available in the Mojang game to replicate Allegiant Stadium.
YouTuber Bubbaflubba recently shared a video highlighting their process of recreating Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium in Minecraft. The creation process begins with the football field, which fittingly sports the Las Vegas Raiders decals and is built on an angle like the real stadium. The gamer then completes the first bowl of stairs and seats before making the tunnels that the football players will emerge from in Super Bowl 58. After that, they move on to the middle bowl and boxes, then the upper bowl, followed by the exterior and different amenities inside. The clip then shows how the building logo, surrounding parking lots, field tray, and highway are constructed before cutting to a tour of the final product.
According to Bubbaflubba, this process took 100 hours over four months. The gamer also has experience in building other stadiums from across the United States, including Arizona's State Farm Stadium, Wisconsin's Lambeau Field, and New York City's Madison Square Garden.
