Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are releasing a new mass outbreak event, giving players a chance to get their hands on some Pokemon which are quite hard to find in the wild. It's been quite an eventful month for the games, with the developers releasing the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Epilogue DLC, alongside a new 7-star Tera Raid featuring Blaziken.
Mass outbreaks have been one of the oldest mechanics in the Pokemon franchise, debuting all the way back in Pokemon Gold and Silver games. Over the years, the feature has been significantly refined, and while it was missing in some iterations in between, it made a return with Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. The last mass outbreak event was held as part of the New Year celebrations in the games. Now, fans will be getting yet another chance to catch a few rare Pokemon in the upcoming event.
