NACON, the French publisher previously known as Bigben Interactive, announced a new edition of its Connect live stream. NACON Connect will return on February 29 at 7:00 PM Central European Time / 10 AM Pacific Time, airing on the publisher's official YouTube and Twitch channels.
The show will last around 30 minutes, featuring new looks at games like GreedFall 2: The Dying World, Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown, Ravenswatch, Crown Wars: The Black Prince, a new game based on Terminator, and a few more announcements.
The two highlights of the lineup are arguably GreedFall 2: The Dying World and Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown. The first is the sequel to Spiders' solid BioWare-like action RPG released in 2019. At launch, I rated GreedFall 7.5, noting the studio's improvements over previous titles.
GreedFall is the best game made by Spiders yet and a worthy RPG in its own right. While definitely not without faults in some areas, it delivers great writing, arguably the most refreshing setting seen recently in a fantasy game, and solid combat.
The French studio (acquired by NACON, then still Bigben Interactive, a few months ahead of the release of the first game) then made a Soulslike game called Steelrising, which didn't receive the same acclaim as its RPG titles. With GreedFall 2, though, they're going back to what they know best. This sequel will actually take place before the events of the first game, acting as a prequel from a narrative standpoint. Publisher NACON revealed that there will be a post-show where Spiders will provide even more details about the game.
The other major game to be featured is the new entry in the Test Drive Unlimited series. The open world racing game has been in development for many years and should have launched two years ago. Fans are still waiting for a release date and NACON Connect could be the perfect venue to get it. Solar Crown earned
