As experienced Palworld players know, the work speed for tasks like Kindling, Crafting, Lumbering, and Watering can differ drastically between levels. However, it's one thing to know that Level 4 is more efficient than Level 3, and it's another to see both in action side by side.

While Palworld was initially referred to as Pokemon with guns by many before and even at launch, the early access title has proven to be much more than this moniker would suggest. The open-world survival shooter title has amassed astounding player numbers in the months following its release on Steam and Xbox. Palworld even set records for Xbox Game Pass, becoming the subscription service's biggest third-party launch title yet. Partially due to the game's popularity as well as its depth of mechanics and content, players continue to uncover new things about Palworld and share these discoveries with the community.

Reddit user jadage shared a video of their Kindling Level 3 and Kindling Level 4 Pals crafting Refined Ingot side by side to illustrate the difference in their work speed. The Level 4 Jormuntide Ignis appears to be crafting Refined Ingot approximately four times faster than the Level 3 Ragnahawk. Both are widely considered to be some of the best Kindling Pals in Palworld, but when it comes to work speed, there simply is no competition.

The Reddit user states that no work speed passives are attached to either Pal, meaning this should represent the average Jormuntide Ignis and Ragnahawk. While the Palworld community is largely aware of work speed differences between the various levels, some commenters appear to be surprised by just how drastic the disparity actually is. By condensing Pals in Palworld, however, these stats can be increased even more to further boost work speed. In this case, Jormuntide Ignis could reach Level 5 Kindling while Ragnahawk could move up to Level 4.
