“A Friendly Rivalry,” a new Overwatch 2 short story set in Junkertown, teases the true nature of Junkrat’s secret treasure for the first time in eight years. While its exact nature is still shrouded in mystery, the Overwatch 2 short story seems to suggest it is a flying vehicle or device of some kind.
On March 5, Overwatch 2 released Heroes Ascendant, a short story anthology featuring tales that explore the backstories of several heroes and villains of the Overwatch universe.
