Humongris Legion World Boss Active This Week - Skinning Pattern for Profession Achievement
This news post is a blast from the past! Humongris is the active Legion World Boss for a week, and this boss is suddenly important again for any players interested in the new profession achievements.
Humongris is the only source for the Skinning Technique: Legion Butchery pattern, which is part of the Broken Isles Skinning Techniques achievement, one of the new profession achievements added in Patch 10.1.7. This is the first time the World Boss has been active since Patch 10.1.7, as Legion World Bosses are on an 11-week rotation.
If you miss this chance, Humongris will only become available again on the week of January 9th, 2024, so hurry up and loot the pattern if you're interested in profession achievements!
To obtain the pattern, all you need to do is the following:
- Learn Legion Skinning if you haven't:
Skin any Legion mobs for Stonehide Leather Sample or Stormscale Sample (either quest counts); - If you picked up Stonehide Leather Sample, skin mobs for 10 Stonehide Leather (or purchase them from the AH) — This is not needed for Stormscale Sample;
- Complete either quest to learn Legion Skinning,
With Legion Skinning learned, go to Val'sharah and kill Humongris — Level 1 in Legion Skinning is all you need to drop the pattern.
Unlike most Legion patterns, Legion Butchery is a 1-rank spell — Learning Humongris's pattern is enough to earn achievement credit!
