Today's Wordle Answer & Hints for November 5, 2023 (Puzzle #869)
The Sunday is here and today's answer should be easy for most players. There aren't any major tricks to today's word, no repeated letters or regional spellings. A simple, straightforward Wordle is the perfect way to start a day.
There are plenty of other copycat games that exist if you're looking for more challenges for the day. One of the more popular ones is which increases the difficulty of the original game by forcing players to solve multiple words at the exact same time. Players will share answers between four different puzzles in hopes of solving all of them before running out of chances.

For those who need a little push in the right direction, we've provided a few hints to help out before fully spoiling today's answer below.
Hint 1
There are no repeating letters.
Hint 2
The answer is used as a noun and a verb.
Hint 3
The vowels are in the 3rd and 5th positions.
Hint 4
A sudden burst of flame or light.
Today's answer is FLARE.
For our starting word today we used IRATE, this provided a few hints including the correct places for both vowels. Moving the 'R' around we attempted CHARE as our second guess. This easily locked in the 'R' and set us on the correct path to victory.
For our third attempt, we tried SPARE which proved incorrect and only added letters to the unused pile. Finally, with a little luck, we hit a win-in-four with the correct answer, FLARE. Another fairly easy puzzle down and on to the next day!
