Mortal Kombat 1 Players Shocked By "Disturbing" Thanksgiving Fatality

You might think that Mortal Kombat players would be numb to grisly finishing moves by now, but Mortal Kombat 1's new "disturbing" Thanksgiving Fatality has proven that not to be the case, as it's shocking the whole community with how gross it is.

Despite generally being regarded as the best-playing Mortal Kombat there's ever been, Mortal Kombat 1 has seen more than its fair share of controversy since it launched in September, with most of the complaints being aimed at the "predatory" Premium Store and its high-costing items and costumes. By far the biggest example of this was the Halloween Fatality, which cost an eye-watering $12 and was pretty weak-sauce for the game's first paid Fatality.

I've previously given every Mortal Kombat 1 Fatality a rating out of 10, and the Halloween Fatality sits at a soft six for me. It's funny, but there's just not much pop to it, you know?

Although the Halloween Fatality was rightly slammed by Mortal Kombat 1 players when it released, it seems that the same won't be said of the upcoming Thanksgiving Fatality, which players have deemed "disgusting", "disturbing", and "gross". After seeing it for myself, I can confirm that all three descriptors are accurate, because yeesh.

Twitter user and Mortal Kombat inside thethiny somehow managed to get their hands on the Thanksgiving Fatality early and posted a video of it in action. It starts off innocently enough with a table full of Thanksgiving food, before whoever is performing the Fatality breaks the opponent's jaw with the table, stuffs them full of Thanksgiving food, chokes them with a turkey, and then jumps on their stomach, squeezing it all out in a mix of blood and sick.

This Fatality would get a straight 10/10 from me. It's funny,
