With new Star Wars content coming to Disney Plus all the time, there's not going to be a shortage of more characters that can be added to the collection anytime soon. There are also plenty of characters, and perhaps more importantly variations of characters, from the series' past to be added to The Black Series too, and today a big one will be made available for the first time.

Darth Vader is coming to the collection. Yes, a character as iconic as perhaps the greatest villain in cinema history was naturally added to The Black Series a long time ago. However, the figure going up for pre-order today is based on the Sith Lord's look from A New Hope. An important addition, and one that will likely be very popular since A New Hope was the first time a lot of fans saw Vader.
