Five Nights at Freddy's has finally released in cinemas, and is unsurprisingly full to the brim with lore drops, intricate plot details, and YouTuber cameos from people who helped the series grow back when it first launched. Markiplier is arguably the biggest contributer to the Five Nights at Freddy's fever, but he couldn't appear in the show despite being asked due to scheduling conflicts. Thankfully, the movie creators did sort out a cameo for another big FNAF YouTuber, and if you're currently dodging spoilers, here's your opportunity to duck out.
Part way into the film, we see a family sat down at a diner, waiting for a server to come and take their order. They're quickly seen as this diner clearly has excellent customer service, as none other than game theorist MatPat enters the scene out of the blue to hand them some menus. It's a fairly standard interaction, right up until he claims that lunch is the most important meal of the day and that the idea that it's actually breakfast is "just a theory".
If you're a Five Nights at Freddy's fan and you don't know who MatPat is, you've either been diligently avoiding YouTube or you're 12 years old. He's arguably one of the biggest Five Nights at Freddy's YouTubers next to Markiplier, who started up the channel The Game Theorists before selling it last year, and is infamous for coming up with incredibly wild plot theories in an attempt to piece together the game's surprisingly in-depth and intricate lore.
