Sony will bundle Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 with the new PS5 slim console at no extra cost when the products launch in the US next month.
That’s according to a PlayStation advert spotted by CharlieIntel, which reports that the Modern Warfare 3 console bundle will be released on November 10, priced at $499.99.
That’s the same price as the standalone console’s RRP, and $60 less than a Spider-Man 2 PS5 slim bundle reportedly scheduled to launch on November 8.
Sony recently announced that it will launch a smaller PS5 model in November in the US, before rolling it out to other regions in the following months, although a specific release date has yet to be officially confirmed.
The Modern Warfare 3 bundle will come with the PlayStation exclusive Lockpick Operator Pack.
The DLC, which won’t be released for other platforms until November 9, 2024, will also be available to purchase standalone on the PlayStation Store and is being offered as a PS4 and PS5 pre-order bonus.
Sony and Activision have a long-standing Call of Duty marketing deal which in recent years has seen PlayStation owners receive a range of exclusive content including in-game bundles, exclusive game modes and early access to public tests.
Microsoft finally completed its $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard this month.
In July, the Xbox maker and Sony signed an agreement to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation after the deal closed, for a period believed to be 10 years.
