Immortals of Aveum – New Game Plus and Grand Magnus Difficulty Coming November 16th
Ascendant Studios’ Immortals of Aveum will receive a new content update on November 16th. The Echollector Update arrives alongside a free trial on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, along with a demo on Steam. It adds a new endgame objective where Jak must venture to new areas courtesy of corrupted Shatterfanes.
These become available after the player reaches Glaivegate and features a new boss fight with new lore. Other features include New Game Plus, which allows for carrying over “most” abilities and spells (but not Augment Spells) into a new playthrough.
Epic and Legendary gear can be upgraded to higher levels, and enemies have their health, damage, and abilities rebalanced (XP and currency earned are also adjusted). There’s also Grand Magnus difficulty, the “most challenging mode” yet, accessible when starting a new playthrough and New Game Plus.
