Here's what happens during the mid-credits sequence in Modern Warfare III.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III's campaign is playable now for those who preordered it, and that means people have played through and finished the game already. It's been discovered that the game has another No Russian-style shocking mission already, and now we know there is an important mid-credit cutscene that fans won't want to miss.
After the credits begin to roll on Modern Warfare III, be sure to stick around because there is a mid-credits sequence that packs a punch. Captain Price surprises General Shepherd in his own office. Price confronts Shepherd about the decisions he made during the campaign, with Shepherd saying, «This job is about making sacrifices for the greater good.» Shepherd reminds Price that he doesn't exactly have a clean conscience either. Price then pulls out a pistol and aims it at Shepherd. «Oh, I am not going to beg for my life,» Shepherd says to Price. «Not from you or anybody else, Captain.»

There does not appear to be an end-credits cutscene in Modern Warfare III. There is no doubt that Activision could continue the story in a potential Modern Warfare IV, but the ending to Modern Warfare III does not tee anything up as strongly as the ending to 2022's Modern Warfare II did.
