The annual PlayStation ‘spot the game references’ advert has landed
thesixthaxis.comSony have launched their latest promotion that follows a long standing tradition of referencing games without actually naming them. This year’s advert is called “Feel it Now” and features a young woman chasing about across the PlayStation multiverse.
I can see references to Ratchet & Clank, The Last of Us, Ghost of Tsushima, Final Fantasy VII Remake, God of War, Spider-Man 2, Hogwarts Legacy, and the Horizon games. There are some more generic shots of the woman in a space helmet which could be Returnal, and also facing a large dragon which looks very ‘Skyrim’ but that’s a weirdly old game to mention, maybe it’s Elden Ring.
There’s also some sort of gangster scene maybe a Yakuza reference, and a car chase which looks very much like Motorstorm or Mad Max. Maybe they are hints for unannounced games?
What is missing is any reference to PSVR 2. That is weird, maybe there will be a separate promotion for that.
