After going live earlier this month on the Steam Beta branch, Bethesda Game Studios’ newest update for Starfield is available to all players. It adds Nvidia DLSS support, including features like DLSS Frame Generation, Deep Learning Anti-aliasing, Nvidia Reflex Low Latency and DLSS Super Resolution for supporting GPUs.
Furthermore, players can now directly consume food and drinks instead of picking them up and going to their inventory. The update also addresses issues like memory leaks and optimizes performance for higher-end graphics cards. An improved rendered model should also offer better CPU usage on higher-end systems.
Stealth is more forgiving, and an issue preventing weapons from firing should no longer occur. Players can also adjust Brightness, Contrast and HDR Brightness (on supporting platforms) in the Settings menu. The eyes on crowd characters have also improved – truly one of the more underrated changes.
