Remedy Entertainment has rolled out Alan Wake 2 update 10, packing over 100 fixes, including platform-specific ones.
Numerous patches have been released since the game's global digital launch late last month, and today, the development read deplored another major patch, fixing issues aplenty. Players will be happy to learn that this patch fixes some critical progress issues, including a progression issue in the Scratch (A New Plan) mission and misbehaving in the Espresso Express in Local Girl (Coffee World). In addition, this update includes additional polish to the game as well as general bug fixes. Also included are increased ammo and health drop rates from containers in the Cynthia boss fight. As for the platform-specific fixes, this update resolves the annoying issue on the Xbox Series X|S that caused auto to be missing or to be cut out. On PlayStation 5, this update addresses an issue where using Share Play would, in rare instances, crash the game. Also, it fixes some wrong audio states towards the end of the game on Sony's console.

INVITATION
-Fixed an issue where players were unable to talk to Casey after the autopsy and thus being blocked from progressing in the mission
-Fixed an issue where in rare circumstances, Nightingale could get stuck in the scenery
CASEY
-Opening the subway door during the escape from the Dark Presence has been made significantly easier by requiring far less button mashing, especially on keyboards
LOCAL GIRL
-Made Coffee World more fun. Fixed an issue where cups from Slow Roaster were not showing and where carriages from Espresso Express blocked player progress
-The clue about the Kalevala workshop now unlocks at the correct time
-A Manuscript
