2021 saw a renewed surge of interest in the game and its cards, which resulted in some cards' value skyrocketing to well above thousands of dollars. These were once worth almost nothing, but have been traded and auctioned off for unbelievable sums of money. In fact, many are among the highest-selling prices for cards of any kind. The highest selling value for a PSA — Gem Mint 10 Tropical Wind card is registered at a whopping $65,100, as seen on the official website. The sale happened in 2020, but the card has an estimated value of $161,822 on PSA’s auction page for Tropical Wind.
