Now that Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2's final launch roster has been officially confirmed, fans are sharing their disappointment about the cuts made to the roster.
A few months ago, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2's launch roster seemingly leaked thanks to Amazon sharing an image of the game's key art, which appeared to feature all of the playable fighters. At the time, many fans hoped that it wasn't actually the final version of the key art, as it implied that at least 11 fighters from the original game had been cut from the roster, including some popular picks like Leonardo, Mikey, Lincoln, and Toph.

Although fans hoped that the final game might include these characters in some form, the most recent fighter reveal, Azula from Avatar: The Last Airbender, has been confirmed to be the game's last, proving the leak was true all along and that a decent amount of characters aren't returning for the sequel. Now that the launch roster has been fully revealed, fans are sharing their opinions on it over on the game's subreddit, and the majority of them don't seem very happy.
Sadly, while most of the new characters that have been added to the game have been received positively, like the Angry Beavers, El Tigre, and Jimmy Neutron, there are some fighters that aren't being welcomed quite as openly. Gertie seems to be the biggest point of contention out of the newcomers, as some fans think that her inclusion has been "forced" by Nickelodeon to try and get more meme appeal in the game. Gerald also hasn't been too positively received, with many pointing out that it's weird he's in the game and Arnold himself isn't.
