Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the latest in Ubisoft’s blockbuster series, and a bit of a throwback to an earlier time for the series. Rather than a big overstuffed RPG, Mirage is more of a traditional action-adventure experience, and as such, some folks more used to recent games like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Valhalla may need to adjust slightly.

When you have a new outpost or enemy base to infiltrate, your instinct may be to rush right in and get to stabbing, but it always pays to get an aerial view of the area with your eagle friend Enkidu. You eagle can mark enemies, treasures, and other things like keys and hidden passages, allowing to plan your attack ahead of time. Sometimes outposts will have an eagle archer that will shoot down Enkidu, so take them out first, then see what they were trying to hide from you and your eagle.
Bad guys in Assassin’s Creed Mirage are pretty much blind to anything happening above them, so when you first infiltrate an area, scramble up to the highest point first. This will allow you to take out any scouts or eagle archers, and then you can essentially work from the top on down, getting the drop on clueless guards below you.
Basim has an eagle, but he also has his own Eagle Vision, that allows you to highlight and mark enemies, even through walls. Needless to say, this is an extremely useful ability and you should never just barge into a room,
