The Magic: The Gathering and Lord of the Rings crossover set will soon expand with a collection of special-edition scene boxes featuring the amazing artwork found on the Tales of Middle-earth cards. Each of the four new box sets depicts an epic scene from the Lord of the Rings books illustrated across six borderless art cards, and includes a paper easel for displaying them. There are also six playable foil versions of the art cards, plus three 12-card booster packs. All of the new LOTR Magic: The Gathering products release November 3 and are available to preorder now at Amazon.
The four scene boxes include Gandalf in Pelennor Fields, The Might of Galadriel, Flight of the Witch King, and Aragorn at Helm's Deep. You can preorder the Gandalf, Galadriel, or Witch King scene boxes for just $36 apiece (normally $40 each) at Amazon. Preorders for the Aragorn set are sold out at the time of writing, but you can still get it as part of a bundle that includes at four boxes for $144 (normally $151).
A new Tales of Middle-earth Special Edition Collector Booster Box will also launch on November 3 alongside the new scene boxes. The Collector Booster Box will include 12 packs for a total of 180 cards. You can preorder the box at Amazon for $323 (normally $411).
