Blizzard has released a video detailing the creation process for The Butcher in Diablo 4, from original concept art all the way to modeling his apron to make sure it doesn't flap too much while he runs — take a look!
How The Butcher Became One of Diablo IV's Most Relentless Monsters
This video comes with some interesting lore tidbits about The Butcher — inlcuding that The Butcher is not actually one demon at all, but in fact a demonic concept! There are apparently many Butchers running around in Hell, and it's not out of the realm of possibility for us to see different variations in the future....
