During this week's Season of Blood Developer Update Livestream, the team unveiled a plethora of new quality-of-life and general improvements coming to Diablo 4 Season 2. These general improvements include the automatic usage of Scrolls of Escape whenever a Hardcore character becomes disconnected from the game, increased experience gains, account-wide Renown rewards, and more!
Enchantment Costs Reduced in Season 2 Crafting Materials to Replace Low-Quality Gear
Among the various experience improvements coming to Season 2, the developers highlighted the following:
With all of these experience changes, the developers have estimated that players will be able to reach level 100 a whopping 40% faster than in Season of the Malignant.
Other changes include Renown rewards becoming account-wide, within the same game mode. This means that every Renown reward that you have previously unlocked will be automatically unlocked for every new character that you make going forward. The only caveat is that Renown progression is not shared between Hardcore and Softcore modes. Additional Waypoints will also be automatically unlocked at the start of each Season, which will make traveling around the world slightly easier for new characters.
After Season of the Malignant has ended, Diablo 4 will also provide players with two additional character slots for players to keep their retired characters on the Eternal Realm. And those are just a handful of great improvements
