After Season 5 arrived, many fans were left wondering about the The Spanish series, also titled “La Casa de Papel,” follows a group of individuals assembled by one mastermind, the Professor. Adopting codenames of different cities in the world, they band together to rob the Royal Mint of Spain. But will they be returning for another heist in season 6?

Money Heist became a worldwide phenomenon for Netflix, which is why it went on to launch 5 parts until December 2021. Part 5 was announced to be the final one and concluded the story of the show perfectly. Since then, there haven’t been any plans to revive the original show for Part 6.

Instead, Netflix launched two parts of a Korean remake titled “Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area,” which arrived in 2022. Now in 2023, we will be getting a prequel to the original series focusing on the character of Andrés de Fonollosa, aka Berlin. It is set to arrive sometime in December 2023 and will bring Pedro Alonso’s titular character back in his prime before he got terminally ill in the original show.

The first five seasons of Money Heist featured a stellar cast of series regulars, including Álvaro Morte as The Professor in the lead. Others involved are Úrsula Corberó as Tokyo, Pedro Alonso as Berlin, Itziar Ituño as Raquel Murillo, Alba Flores as Nairobi, Miguel Herrán as Rio, Jaime Lorente as Denver, Esther Acebo as Monica Gaztambid, and Enrique Arce as Arturo, among a few more.
