Rockstar is reportedly gearing up to announce GTA 6 as early as this week, along with a trailer coming in December. The news comes from Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, who claims that sources related to the project have said that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be announced as part of the studio's 25th anniversary this week.
According to Schreier, "The company plans to then publish a trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI next month to celebrate Rockstar’s 25th anniversary, said the people, who asked to not be identified because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly. A spokesperson for Rockstar didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment sent after business hours."

GTA 6 is undoubtedly the most awaited game of the last few years, with the anticipation being kicked into a fervor due to Rockstar's silence on the project, along with the massive leak which revealed that much of the game has already been developed. While the studio hasn't revealed the game officially, it put out a statement after the leak, saying that the project was still in development and will be revealed when it's ready to be revealed.
However, fans have been feeling like the studio has been teasing the announcement of the game for a while now. In September, Rockstar put out a social media post for a then upcoming event in GTA Online which featured two characters standing in front of the famous Vinewood sign. However, the character placement and the angle made it so that you could only see the "VI" part of the sign. For once, this was a very blatant tease by the studio.
