One gamer has found an unusual solution for getting across the sometimes massive maps in Mojang’s Minecraft, sharing a video of themselves going uphill on an iceboat in a pre-release build of Minecraft Java 1.19.4. While console and mobile players are most familiar with Minecraft’s Bedrock Edition, which tends to be more stable and works across a variety of gaming devices, the Java edition of Minecraft is how the franchise began and remains popular with many PC players.
Debuting as a small, indie PC title by Mojang Studios in 2009, Minecraft has become nearly ubiquitous across pop culture over the last decade. In addition to the core title, which is available on almost any device capable of playing games, there have also been multiple spin-offs of Minecraft ranging from the Diablo-esque Minecraft Dungeons to the Minecraft: Builders and Biomes board game.
