March’s first wave of PlayStation Plus games are now available for subscribers to claim.
This month’s PlayStation Plus Essential games are Battlefield 2042 (PS5/PS4), Minecraft Dungeons (PS4) and Code Vein (PS4).
These titles are available for subscribers to claim until April 3.
Essential is the entry-level PlayStation Plus membership tier, which offers subscribers access to a few ‘free’ games every month.
Players can continue to play these games even after they’re no longer available to claim at the end of the monthly period as long as they continue to subscribe to PlayStation Plus Essential (or a higher tier).
Once their membership ends, they’ll no longer be able to play these games unless they resubscribe.
Sony recently revealed some of the games that will be coming to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue, which is available to players subscribed to the Extra or Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus.
March’s Game Catalogue titles will include Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Ghostwire: Tokyo, Rainbow Six: Extraction, Tchia and Immortals: Fenyx Rising.
Of the five games announced, Tchia is the only one that’s a brand new title. The open-world sandbox adventure game is inspired by the development studio’s homeland of New Caledonia, and will be available on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium on day one.
February’s PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium titles include Horizon Forbidden West, The Quarry, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and Scarlet Nexus.
