Through an update to the Steam store listing for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Konami has revealed the minimum and recommended specs for its PC release. Going by the listing, the title seems to be quite scalable when it comes to required hardware. However, it still does need relatively modern PC specs to run.
The bare minimum needed to run Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater on PC is either an Intel i5 8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super with 8 GB of VRAM, and 16 GB of RAM. Notably, Konami also recommends an SSD for the game’s installation.

The PC specs announcement comes shortly after Konami released a trailer officially announcing the August 28 release date for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Interestingly, the trailer was originally leaked earlier this month, and gave us a look at some of the game’s various locations, bosses, and characters.
The trailer also revealed that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater would feature the Snake vs Monkey game mode from the original PS2 release of Snake Eater. The mode will task Naked Snake with hunting down and recovering escaped monkeys from the Ape Escape franchise.
We also got to see quite a bit more of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater thanks to some screenshots that were released earlier this month. The screenshots showed off not only Snake vs Monkey, but also some of the locations from the game, as well as the new UI that players will make use of in order to change their camouflage.
