Poppy Playtime Chapter 4’s Doey The Doughman Explained
One of the newest and most complex characters in is Doey the Doughman. The player meets Doey shortly into Chapter 4 while attempting to get out of the prison and deeper into the facility. He helps the player escape from the Pianosaurus, before guiding them onward toward the Safe Haven. Even in that first meeting,the player seems aware that there is more to Doey than meets the eye, and he has a strange relationship with everyone around him.
There is a lot of lore updates in , and players will find a lot of intriguing material that allows them to theorize further and find new questions to ask. There are a lot of great characters in this chapter, including Harley Sawyer and Doey. Figuring out who is on what side and how they came to get there is one of the biggest ongoing mysteries in the series, and Doey is a big part of that question.
By the end of , players will have found various notes, videos, and other pieces of evidence that reveal who Doey is. He is a large creature seemingly made of dough, and he is extremely strong, with the ability to shapeshift and withstand nearly any damage thrown at him. He is not quite invincible, but he is very close.
