MindsEye had a story trailer and gameplay trailer at the most recent PlayStation State of Play. I think that it looked off especially the gameplay trailer that had the protagonist Jacob always shooting and blowing up cars similar to a Michael Bay movie. I can't believe that it's coming out before GTA 6, I wasn't expecting this but I'm still going to give the game a shot to keep me busy until GTA 6 comes out. So far, many people are not impressed with the game that was supposed to be the GTA killer with Leslie Benzies in charge of it. It goes to show, a legendary guy like Leslie Benzies who was one of the brains behind Grand Theft Auto will potentially put out a trash AAA game like MindsEye. So at this point even Dan Houser leaving won't even affect GTA 6, maybe Rockstar will always be the best game developer and make top notch games no matter who is working on their games. A lot of it could be to do with the amazing RAGE engine, Rockstar DNA along with the culture which any game developer can take advantage of and learn from. Sam Houser is still there and he will put out another extraordinary game being GTA 6 while MindsEye looks like the most AI made game that you can possibly imagine. Are you still excited for MindsEye and will give it a try like me and do you actually think that it can be better than GTA 6?

I’m certainly interested in Mindsey3, I do enjoy open-world games (particularly games akin to the GTA series) but I agree, the gameplay did look a little rough considering how close we are to the supposed release. The fact that Benzies is heavily involved only adds to my interest too tbh.

I find it highly unlikely that it’ll pose any serious threat to GTA6 though. Historically, I’ve enjoyed most GTA-likes but none of them possess that feel of pure quality held by all GTA games from III onwards (I never played the original GTA, GTA 2, nor GTA London).
