Until Dawn Trailer Previews Creepy Horror Movie Based on Popular Video Game
A new trailer for has been released.
Until Dawn is the forthcoming Sony Pictures horror movie that is based on the PlayStation Studios video game, which was released in 2015, of the same name. Directed by David F. Sandberg, the film will be released in theaters this coming April.

“One year after her sister Melanie mysteriously disappeared, Clover and her friends head into the remote valley where she vanished in search of answers. Exploring an abandoned visitor center, they find themselves stalked by a masked killer and horrifically murdered one by one…only to wake up and find themselves back at the beginning of the same evening,” the synopsis reads. “Trapped in the valley, they’re forced to relive the nightmare again and again – only each time the killer threat is different, each more terrifying than the last. Hope dwindling, the group soon realizes they have a limited number of deaths left, and the only way to escape is to survive until dawn.”
The cast of Until Dawn includes Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Odessa A’zion, Ji-young Yoo, Belmont Cameli, Maia Mitchell, and Peter Stormare.
The script comes from Blair Butler and Gary Dauberman. Sandberg and Dauberman produce the movie alongside Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, Lotta Losten, Roy Lee, and Mia Maniscalco. Charles Miller and Hermen Hulst serve as executive producers.
Sandberg made his feature film directorial debut in 2016 with Lights Out. He followed that up with 2017’s Annabelle: Creation before he then ventured into the DCEU when he helmed 2019’s Shazam! and the 2023 sequel Shazam! Fury of the Gods.
Until Dawn will be released in United States theaters on Friday, April 25, 2025, from Sony Pictures Releasing.
