Marvel Rivals is ready for release on 6th December, as the game has officially gone gold.
The hero shooter has a shot at becoming one of the biggest games on the planet, with its familiar characters pairing with a well-established gameplay formula.

While the industry has not been kind to Overwatch clones of late, this outing will feature a roster of 33 familiar faces at launch, with some seriously on-point art direction. It’ll also be free-to-play, so it costs nothing to give it a go.
We had mixed feelings about the beta at Push Square Towers; some of us loved it, others were less keen. But the developer has had almost six months to listen to feedback, polish the experience, and balance the gameplay since then – we’re confident about the end results.
Of course, with a new season of Fortnite imminent and other live service games maintaining their appeal, this is a really difficult sector to break into. But we have a sneaking suspicion the superheroes of Marvel Rivals will give it the chops to stand out in a crowded category – this is going to be big.

I've been so impressed with all the artwork they've been releasing recently. The character designs are absolutely superb.
33 heroes at launch seems insane. Gonna be so hard to balance that.
