Hogwarts Legacy developer Avalanche Software has confirmed it doesn't have any post-launch DLC (downloadable content) in the works for its wizarding simulator as of right now. Speaking with IGN, game director Alan Tew said the team has been so focused on shipping the base game that «at the moment there are no current plans for DLC». Of course, the open world title will be supported with patches and bug fixes — one update is already live — but big expansions aren't on the cards.
If the studio does change its mind then it'll be starting on any DLC from scratch, meaning it will be a long time before it's ready to reveal those plans. As such, Hogwarts Legacy expansions are either never happening or are pretty far off in the future.
What's already there, though, will last you quite a long time. Gunning for the Platinum Trophy will take at least 50 hours of play, and our Hogwarts Legacy guide will help you get there. Had you been hoping the game would get DLC? Share your reaction in the comments below.
