While last week’s roundup was packed full of announcements, the news this week felt far more subdued, but there was luckily a bunch of reviews and previews to keep us busy, so let’s dive in!
Steve was impressed by the Resident Evil 4 Remake, giving it the first 10/10 we’ve had in a while:
Elsewhere, Stefan had a very zombie-heavy week. He started off having a fun time with Switchback VR ahead of Tuffcub’s review, and spoke to Game Director Alejandro Arque Gallardo.
After that, he had a look at another PSVR2 horror game, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Ch 2 Retribution, before moving onto Dead Island 2, for which he had another video preview:
Many of you will know that the game has been in ‘development hell’ for some time now, but to get the real story, he spoke to Game Director David Stenton to get the inside scoop.
Last up, Dom went hands on with Exoprimal, the multiplayer shooter filled with ‘time travel, mech suits, multiplayer, rogue AIs and dinosaurs’ which is currently in open beta.
And then finishing the week, What We Played featured Resident Evil 4, WWE 2K23 & Switchback VR.
