With well into its fifth year of content, it’s about time developer HoYoverse brings an end to the way that Alchemy Tables (Crafting Benches) currently operate and facilitate farming and crafting for players, as it has done in other titles under its belt. The action RPG is heading into Version 5.3 soon, a patch that should conclude the main story arc set in Natlan. Based on what is expected to happen and the leaks so far, the update is likely going to be the largest one since Version 5.0, which introduced Natlan to ’s map.
The game has been growing substantially in content, with an entire region being presented with every X.0 update. In addition to the regular playable content itself, HoYoverse has committed to enhancing the general player experience with several system optimizations and quality-of-life updates. One such update that has leaked is said to improve character-building in 5.3 and onward, by helping players sort Artifacts for the characters they are working on. This comes in light of all the other tweaks that have occurred over the past years. However, there’s still one feature that could be fixed.
Alchemy Tables, localized in every main city in the game, are where players go in order to craft new items that they need for character and weapon Ascension, as well as leveling Talents. This feature plays a vital role in the game and it is utterly indispensable, but now it needs a fix more than ever. Alchemy Tables need to be made portable instead of only set in specific zones in each city of Teyvat. HoYoverse does not need to look too far for inspiration, as the crafting system in is portable and it works marvelously.
