Well, we're now three days into 2025 — at the time of writing this article — and that can only mean one thing: Push Square's Game of the Year awards for 2024 are over.

We had a great time putting all of our Game of the Year features together for the holidays, but if you missed out on the celebrations, don't worry — we've got your back with this handy recap.

Robert (or Rob if you're lazy) is an assistant editor of Push Square, and has been a fan of PlayStation since the 90s, when Tekken 2 introduced him to the incredible world of video games. He still takes his fighting games seriously, but RPGs are his true passion. The Witcher, Persona, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, Trails, Tales — he's played 'em all. I think this might be the first ever year where none of the editorial team picked the same GOTY. Something for everyone!

Congrats to Infinite Wealth for at least securing up one win here! Well deserved so atta boys! By any chance, did you guys do a music award? My vote would’ve been for FF7 Rebirth with Persona 3 Reload, Stellar Blade, and Metaphor Re:Fantazio rounding out my top 4 (in no order for those 3).
