And just like that, it’s 2025! Wait, what? Wasn’t it, like, 2009 a couple of weeks ago? Where does the time go, eh?
Firstly, on this newest of new years we’d like to wish you and your loved ones a prosperous 2025 and beyond. It feels like we’re replaying an old record, but we indeed live in ever-changing times, so above all we hope that you’re able to stay safe and healthy.
As you’ll no doubt be aware, it was a difficult 2024 for the video games industry. In addition to thousands upon thousands of layoffs, we also witnessed studio closures and more. Even the media side hasn’t been safe, with many of our colleagues let go and some of our personal favourite sites closed down.
Fortunately, we’re still here, and we owe that to your support. Thank you for believing in us, and remember you’re always contributing to our work by commenting, clicking, and sharing.
