The artistically impressive card-based mobile game Reverse: 1999 is adding Assassin’s Creed crossover content in 2025, as confirmed during a livestream earlier today.
Two titles from the hit Ubisoft historical series will be represented: the iconic PS3 entry Assassin’s Creed 2 and the more recent Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. While any of the games would have worked, we think the lush Italian and Greek backdrops will fit particularly well here.
There’s no further information on what the collaboration will entail, but we’d expect story-based events and potentially the inclusion of Ezio and Kassandra as playable characters.
While there’s been no movement from developer Bluepoch just yet, last year it told us that a PS5 port of Reverse: 1999 may be considered in the future. Given the success of similar titles like Honkai: Star Rail on console, we hope it arrives at some point.

Reverse 1999 had amazing setting and beautiful art style and I would be all over it if it've been traditional RPG. Unfortunately crappy gameplay and typical gacha101 content delivery system made it unplayable. And that's coming from someone enjoying ZZZ and Infinity Nikki.
But this game isn’t on PS5…?
Again a free to play Gatcha game i hope it never reaches PlayStation.
