Reverse: 1999 is gearing up for the big launch of its next update, version 2.2 on January 9th. And alongside the first big update of the year, they’ve announced something pretty exciting. Well, you’ll soon get to dive into a Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed crossover!
The Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed collab is pulling from two major titles of the series: Assassin’s Creed II and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. You’ll probably get to experience Renaissance Italy with Ezio Auditore and ancient Greece with Kassandra.
The teaser for the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed collab starts with Vertin, our Timekeeper from Reverse: 1999, walking through a rain-soaked street. The scene’s moody vibes are suddenly interrupted by a glowing light, which is the iconic Assassin’s Creed logo.
I know that you must be eager to get a peek into the trailer as well. So, go ahead and check it out right here!
Other than the video, Ubisoft and Reverse: 1999 haven’t dropped any more details. We don’t even know about the launch date yet. But I guess, right now, their focus is more on the V2.2 update ‘Twilight in the Southern Hemisphere.’ It’s running in two phases till February 20th.
So, you can probably hope to get more details about the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed collab by late January or early February. And I’m thinking that the event will start once the version 2.2 events are over.
If you’re into time travel, magic, and sneaky assassins dropping wisdom, then you might want to check this collab out. Assassin’s Creed is all about stealth, history and feathers and I’m excited to see what the crossover will bring for us.
Collaborating with a triple-A gaming franchise is a next-level ambition for Ubisoft and Reverse: 1999. If you haven’t tried the tactical RPG out yet, get it from the Google Play Store.
Until the collab drops, check out our next news on Bright Memory: Infinite Launching on Android with Console-Quality Gameplay.
