The curtain has just closed on another epic Fortnite event, featuring performances from Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Juice Wrld. The finale to the current Remix season paves the way for Chapter 6, which has a Japanese theme to it.
The concert attracted over 14 million concurrent players, a new record for the Battle Royale. It started out with a kaiju-sized Snoop Dogg, before transitioning into an Eminem Gundam battle. Ice Spice performed on the top of a skyscraper, while Juice Wrld rounded things out in an ethereal space.

While there wasn’t much gameplay in this event – you kinda just bounced around and watched the performers do their thing – there’s no other title on the planet putting on in-game spectacles like this. Pertinently, the new Hunters season looks absolutely superb.

It's such an awesome idea to do these insane, huge budget, virtual concerts that defy your average concert experience but just:
its in fortnite, a game I dont like. I hate the art style. the artists they pick are always so middle of the road.
Its so good they do them and I'm sure there are people out there who have an absolute blast with them and I'm so happy for them, but I always watch them and it just feels like it could be so much better.
