Fortnite’s enduring success can be attributed to Epic Games’ ability to reinvent the release every few weeks. The developer’s constantly adding new content, whether it’s gameplay mechanics or alterations to the environment – and every so often it makes some seismic changes to the flow of the game, like the recent addition of the No Build playlist.
One rumour that’s been swirling for several months pertains to the addition of a first-person mode, and data miners believe they’ve discovered evidence of its imminent arrival. Twitter account HypeX has led the rumours, but their hypothesis has been backed up by several other noteworthy leakers, including ShiinaBR and iFireMonkey.
Obviously these are reliable, well-regarded sources within the Fortnite community – but all of this remains unconfirmed until it comes directly from Epic Games’ mouth. Still, with the current season scheduled to conclude on Wednesday, 8th March, we won’t need to wait too long to find out what’s in store.

The current season has been brilliant. The timed weekly quests was a bit of a blip at the start but that decision has been reversed now thankfully. Really looking forward to the new season and to the Leon & Claire skins being added when the RE4 Remake is released later this month.
