Emberthal and Dracthyr In-Game Cinematic and Questline (Spoilers) - Patch 10.1.7
Patch 10.1.7 includes a new questline involving Emberthal and the remnants of the Sundered Flame. Here's the in-game cinematic and questline! Spoilers ahead.
Cinematic
While dealing with a rogue group of Sundered Flame, this is the cinematic that plays. Full quest walkthrough below:
Patch 10.1.7 Dracthyr and Emberthal Questline
When you approach Scalecommander Emberthal in Valdrakken, you heard the following dialogue play:
Amythora: Scalecommander! The Sundered Flame! They're back!
Scalecommander Emberthal: The Sundered Flame? How?
Amythora: I do not know. We were scouting the camp at Lonely Falls and were ambushed. They took Marithos!
You can then pick up A Single Wing which tells you to find Marithos in the Azure Span. After finding him, you pick up Getting to Ground to get Marithos to safety.
After this, you can 3 follow up quests
- Seeing Reason to attempt to confront Quartermaster Doros to tell convince him to become Ebon Scales again.
- The Best Intentions to free Marithos' shackes.
- Dracthyr Down to collect Wingfoil herbs to heal Marithos.
You find the key and herbs, but unfortunately are forced to kill Quartermaster Doros as he doesn't see reason and fights to the death. Once you complete all these, you get Urgent Exfiltration to defend Amythora and Marithos and once complete you get the following cinematic.
Returning to Valdrakken, you then get the following conversation.
Windlord! It is good to have you back. After we left you in the titan vault...
Winglord Dezran: I am proud to see how you have grown since I last saw you both. But not, go. Get some rest. Emberthal and I must talk.
