Apple has finally released an update to fix the iPhone 15 Pro's overheating issue. The latest update is a rapid response from Apple considering the number of complaints users have filed over Apple's Support Community and Reddit. Apple has released iOS 17.0.3 for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max that were overheating for no reason at all.

As mentioned earlier, soon after the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro launched, users began testing the new models to test their limits. The iPhone 15 Pro models feature Apple's latest A17 Pro chip that packs enormous power and efficiency since it is fabricated on TSMC's 3nm architecture and based on the N3B process. Some users coined that the iPhone 15 Pro's overheating issue is due to the A17 Pro chip but their claims were drowned by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Industry analyst MingChi Kuo stated that the A17 Pro chip had nothing to do with the overheating issue and that titanium is the main culprit.
It was also rumored that the issue is present on the iPhone 15 Pro models due to internal design changes to fit the new logic board. Furthermore, a YouTuber also claimed that the iPhone 15 Pro's overheating issue persists due to the Instagram app. Apple pushed all of these claims aside and stated that it was a software bug and that a software update would be released soon. The company kept its promise and released iSO 17.0.3 today that fixed the iPhone 15 Pro's overheating
