As you begin your quest to assist Magistrate Oren in ridding Sanctuary of the terrors of the night with the help of Vampire Hunter Erys, you'll eventually gain new power through a most chilling means — siphoning the blood of powerful vampires! Potent Blood is a material gained through defeating vampires that you can then spend to unlock new Vampiric Powers or upgrade existing ones. Each power can be upgraded to a maximum of level 3.
At the bottom of the window you can see the Potent Blood cost required to gain the new power.
In Season of Blood, there will be 22 Vampiric Powers to choose from, but to use them, you'll need the minimum number of Pacts to satisfy the Pact requirement.
Pacts can be found on helmets, chest armor, pants, boots, and gloves in varying amounts and come in three types: Divinity, Eternity, and Ferocity Pacts.
The symbols on the item tooltips show the number of each Pact Granted.
Once you have enough Pacts equipped to fulfill the Pact requirement, the Vampiric Power will become enabled. However, if you are short on particular Pacts, then you can use Cleansing Acid in order to remove Pacts from an armor piece and apply a different Pact instead!
